Alun Evans works from his studio in north Cheshire overlooking the Mersey estuary.
The focus of my current work is a series of variable edition screen prints of Liverpool city centre edifaces.
A collection of these can be viewed in the Mostyn Art Gallery, Llandudno as part of the 'PLACE OVER TIME' exhibition in Gallery 6. The display incorporates prints produced from 2000 and include 'beacons' of significance from the north Pembrokeshire Strumble Head lighthouse and St Davids Cathedral to Jodrell Bank in Cheshire and the Liverpool waterfront.
The group above feature the bronze statue of William Rathbone between St Georges Hall and St Johns Tower.
The Mostyn exhibition runs until the 1st of November.
Details of their post-lockdown opening arrangements can be found at www.mostyn.org
